The stage is set for another thrilling chapter in the British Columbia Men’s Premiership, with the release of the 2025 draw.
The five familiar contenders from last season; the Vancouver Valley Vipers, Vancouver Dragons, Point Grey Thunder, Valley Warriors, and the reigning Nines and Premiership champions, the formidable Whistler Wolves, are all back for what promises to be a fiercely contested five-round campaign across June and July before the competition Finals.
The action kicks off in explosive fashion on May 31st with the annual RLBC 9s, a traditional curtain-raiser that often provides early insights into team form and tactical approaches. This year, the Whistler Wolves will have the advantage of hosting the Nines, providing a home crowd boost as they look to defend their title.
The Wolves opening premiership fixture will see them face a challenging test against the Vancouver Valley Vipers at Brockton Oval. Meanwhile, whilst last year’s runners up, the Vancouver Dragons, will begin their quest for Premiership glory against the Point Grey Thunder. The Valley Warriors will have a week to strategize with an opening round bye.
