A weekend of intense rugby league action saw a dramatic title swap between Cedar Grove Academy and Calabar High School in the Jamaica Rugby League High Schools Finals, held at Campion College.
In the highly anticipated Under 16’s High School Championship Final, Calabar High demonstrated a powerful resurgence, avenging their previous year’s defeat with a commanding 42-0 victory over Cedar Grove Academy.
Meanwhile, the Under 14s tournament witnessed the end of an era. Cedar Grove Academy broke Calabar High’s six-year reign, securing a decisive 24-4 win.
The 2025 Jamaica High School competitions featured eight schools broken in two pools. Joining Cedar Grove and Calabar High were Jose Marti Technical, Campion College, St Georges College, BB Coke, St Catherine High and Kingston High.
