The Tampa Bay Mischief etched their name in history books last year, claiming the inaugural USARL Women’s National Championship. Their historic performance, culminating in a resounding 76-20 victory over the East Palo Alto Razorbacks in the Final, established them as the team to beat as season two fast approaches.
Their title defence however is set to become significantly more challenging this year, with the number of Women’s teams in the South-East set to increase.
In 2025, the Mischief won’t just have to contend with familiar rivals like the Jacksonville Axewomen, with the South-West Florida Copperheads and the Atlanta Rhinos announcing their intentions to field sides for the upcoming season.
The Georgia based Atlanta Rhinos have already made a statement of intent, welcoming USA Hawks representative centre, Cyndi Campbell, and Georgia, Lindsey Songer, to their ranks.
Whilst the full list of teams for the 2025 USA Women’s National Championship haven’t yet been confirmed, the New York Stage Queens are expected to return to see the Eastern Conference grow from three to five sides.
